AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF
THE
CITY OF PETALUMA FROM JULY 1, 1990 TO JULY 30, 1990 AND
DECLARING THE URGENCY TH__EREOF, TO TAKE EFFECT
IMMEDIATELY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated for the usual. and ordinary
expenses of the City of Petaluma for the period of. July 1, 1990 to July 30, 1990, the
amounts set in the attached Exhibit A, incorporated by herein reference, and
distributed to the various funds as set out in said exhibit, and shall be expended
and used in accordance therewith.
Section 2. Changes with relation to the above appropriation between
each respective department or fund maybe made by resolution adopted by the
City Council. The City Manager may administratively make changes within the
departmental appropriations as approved so long as the total amounts do not
exceed, as a result of the change, the amounts set forth in the approved
appropriations.
Section 3. The City Council herebyfinds and determines that the amount
of appropriations provided hereby does not exceed the estimated revenue, in the
amounts set in the attached Exhibit B, and other available funds of the City for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1991.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the City of
Petaluma, and shall take effect and be in force from and after its final passage by
unanimous vote of the members of the City Council present at the time of
Ord. 1804 N.C.S.

its adoption. The reason for the urgency is so that the work authorized to be
accomplished hereby may be properly scheduled and spaced over the next month
to furnish the City the ordinary running expenses of the City and particularly those
relating to the protection of the public peace, health, and safety from and after its
passage.
Section 6. The City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to post/publish
this ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
