Resolution No. 2026-017 N.C.S.
of the City of Petaluma, California
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPOINTMENTS TO THE MAYORS' AND
COUNCILMEMBERS' ASSOCIATION TO FILL VACANCIES ON REGIONAL BODIES
WHEREAS, vacancies have occurred on the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Aviation Commission and
Childcare Planning Council; and
WHEREAS, appointments will be considered by the Mayors’ and Councilmembers’ Association Board of
Directors at the Mayors’ and Councilmembers’ Association meeting on February 12, 2026; and; and
WHEREAS, letters of interest have been received and considered by the Petaluma City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby
recommends to the Mayors’ and Councilmembers’ Association Board of Directors the following
appointments:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council authorizes Mayor Kevin McDonnell or his designee
to vote on late nominations received at the Mayors’ & Councilmembers’ Association meeting on February 12,
2026.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
REFERENCE: I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the
Council of the City of Petaluma at a Regular meeting on the 2nd day of February
2026, by the following vote:
