AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS OF
THE CITY OF PETALUMA FROM JULY 1, 1989, TO JUNE 30, 1990, AND
DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF, TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY
14 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. There
is hereby appropriated
for the Capital
16
Improvement Projects of
the City of Petaluma
for the period of July 1,
17
1989 to June 30, 1990,
the amounts set in the
attached Exhibit A,
18 incorporated by herein reference, and distributed to the various funds
19 as set out in said exhibit, and said amounts shall be expended and
20 used in accordance therewith.
21 Section 2. Changes with relation to the above appropriation
22 between each respective project or fund may be made by resolution
23 adopted by the City Council. The City Manager may administratively
24 make changes within the project appropriations as approved so long as
25 the total amounts do not exceed, as a result of the change, the
26 amounts set forth in the approved project appropriations.
27 Section 3. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
28 amount of appropriations provided hereby does not exceed the estimated
29 revenue and other available funds of the City for the fiscal year
30 ending June 30, 1990.
31 Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
32 herewith are hereby repealed.

1 Section 5. This ordinance is hereby declared to be
2 necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health,
3 and safety of the City of Petaluma, and shall take effect and be in
4 force from and after its final passage by a unanimous vote of the
5 members of the City Council present at the time of its adoption. The
6 reason for the urgency is to allow for properly scheduled authorized
7 projects in order to furnish the City with the necessary
8 infrastructure and public facilities and particularly those relating
9 to the protection of the public peace, health, and safety from and
10 after its passage.
11 Section 6. The City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to
12 post/publish this ordinance for the period and in the manner required
13 by the City Charter.
