Introduced by Seconded by Jack Cavanagh Vice Mayor Davis AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY CONSISTING OF A PORTION OF THE WELL SITE OWNED BY THE CITY OF PETALUMA ADJACENT TO MARIA DRIVE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Petaluma as follows: Section 1. A portion of the well site owned by the City of Petaluma and located adjacent to Maria Drive, which portion is legally described in Exhib_it_A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby authorized to be sold to McBail Company. The purchase price of the property is in the amount of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00). Section 2. Following the adoption of this Ordinance, the City of Petaluma and McBail Company shall cause a lot line adjustment to occur, whereby the land described in Exhibit A will be merged with the adjoining land. of McBail Company, specifically Lot 66 of the Subdivision known as Meadow Park, Unit 2. Upon completion of the Lot Line Adjustment, the City shall deed the aforesaid property described in Exhibit A to McBail Company and McBail shall immediately make payment to the City of Petaluma in the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8 , 000.00) . Section 3. It is deemed to be in the best public interest and for the common benefit of the City of Petaluma for the City to sell this property in the manner stated above. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documentation on behalf of the City for the sale of the property described in Exhibit A to McBail Company, all in accordance with the terms stated herein. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post/publish this 1 Ord. 1742 NCS ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
