INTRODUCED BY: SECONDED BY: Larry Tencer Brian Sobel AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.14 OF THE PETALUMA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 17.14.040A THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. 17.14.040A Computation of fees is hereby amended as follows: A. In the case of residential development, the fee to be charged shall be One Thousand Two Hundred Thirteen Dollars ($1,213.00) per dwelling unit or as subsequently adjusted under Section 17.14.045. Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall take effect and be in force upon its passage by a unanimous vote of the members of the City Council present at the time of its adoption. Imposition of said amendment to said fees shall take effect on August 16, 1988 at 8:00 AM. The reason for the emergency is that any delay in passage will mean continuation of unequal changes for lower density residential projects as compared to higher density projects.
