Resolution Approving the Revised Fiscal Year 2000/2001 Budget and 32 _ Adopfing~the~;Fiscal Year 2001/20.02 Budget and Capital Improvement 33 ~ Program. 34 ~B. Introducfion and.Adoption of Ordinance Appropriating :Funds for the 35 Operation of the City of Petaluma From July 1., 2001 to June 30, 2002 and 36 Declarrg the Urgency Thereof, to Take Effect Immediately. 37 ~C. Resolution Adopting the Appropriation, Limit for Fiscal Year 2001-2002 and 38 ~ Making the Annual Election for Adjustment Factors. 39 40 Finance Director Bill Thomas explained the purpose of the resolutions and 41 ordinance described in items 1 A; B, and C above. 42 43 .Vice Mayor Cader-Thompson thanked Mr. Thomas and the Finance Department 44 staff for their great job pulling the budget together. She thought it was possibly 45 the best budget document the City had ever produced, and she knew many long 46 hours were `involved. Approving 4 the Revised Fiscal Year 2000-2001, Budget and Adopting the Fiscal 5 Year 2001-2002 Budget and Capital: Improvement Program. 6 7 Council Member Moynihan -asked to discuss a ..number of items in the budget. 8 ~Discus~sion fo low.ed on these topics: 9 10 Council Member Moynihan's discomfort with approving a. Resurfacing Budget again after Council's goal:-setting process is completed. Adopting; the Appropriation Limit for Fiscal Year 2001-2002 and Making the Annual .Election for Adjustment Factors.
