INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN Roland Bond SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN Michael Davis AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORD. 1072 NCS BY PREZONING A.P. #048-080-26 AND PORTIONS OF 150-020-4,5,6,7 & 8 KNOWN AS THE REDWOOD OIL AND AMARAL/ SINGLETON PROPERTIES AND CORONA ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY (PORTION) , AS PCD, RANCHO ARROYO BUSINESS PARK BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council on September 3, 1985 its report as set forth in its minutes of August 13, 1985 (File No. 3.343) , recommending the adoption of an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., by prezoning those portions of Assessor's Parcel Number 048-080-26 and portions of 150-020-4,5,6,7 & 8 and Corona Road right-of-way between Highway 101 and the Petaluma River bridge which are not already prezoned FW (Floodway) as PCD and FPC, Rancho Arroyo Business Park as described in attached Exhibit A. Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a public hearing on said proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., on August 13, 1985, after giving notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. Section 3 . Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., the City Council finds that the proposed amendment is in general conformity with the Petaluma General Plan and its Environmental Design Plan Element, and further, that the public interest, convenience and general welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment. Ord. 1631 NCS 1 of 2 Section 4. The City Council finds that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15083 have been satisfied and hereby incorporates by reference the Negative Declaration approved by Resolution No. 85-305 N.C.S. Section 5. Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., and based upon the evidence it has received and in accordance with the findings made, the City Council hereby adopts an amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., so as to reclassify and prezone said property hereinbefore referred to in accordance with the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter. INTRODUCED and ordered posted this 16th day of September , 1985.
