INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN F~oalsey SECONDED BY Cavanagh AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN AVAILABLE REVENUES NOT INCLUDED IN THE 1984-85 BUDGET AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF, TO TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Pursuant to Charter Section 60, there is hereby appropriated for the usual and ordinary expenses of the City from July 1, 1984, until June 30, 1985, the amounts set out in the attached Exhibit A, incorporated herein by reference, which amounts are from reserves and revenues not appropriated in the 1984-85 budget of the City. Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the amount of appropriations provided hereby does not exceed the estimated revenue and other available funds for the City for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1985. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the City of Petaluma, and shall take effect and be in force from and after its final passage by a unanimous vote of the members of the City Council present at the time of its adoption. The reason for the urgency is that work and projects authorized to be accomplished may be properly scheduled, particularly those relating to the protection of the public peace, health, and safety of the City of Petaluma. ~~~ ., ~-- Section 5. The City Clerk is .hereby directed to post/publish this ordinance for the period and in the ,manner required by the City Charter. ORDERED POSTED this 1st day of July, 1985.
