Seconded by Councilman Michael Davis AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1072 NCS BY PREZONING THE PETALUMA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO P.C.D. (located generally between East ~Nashington Street/Casa Grande Road East of Parkland Wav and Garfield Drive) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council on February 19 , 1985 its report as set forth in its minutes of January 8, 1985 (Item No. 3.312), recommending the adoption of an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No . 1072 N . C . S . , by prezoning certain lands being more particularly described in F,xhibit A to P.C.D. (Planned Community District . Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a public hearing on said proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., on January 8, 1'985, after. giving notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. Section 3. Pursuant to the Provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N . C . S . , the City Council finds that the proposed amendment is in general conformity with the Petaluma Gener~.l Plan and its Environmental Design Plan Element, anal further, that the public interest, convenience and general welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment. Section 4. The City Council finds that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15083 have been satisfied and hereby incorporates by reference the Environmental Impact Report prepared for said certified by Resolution No. 8363 N.C.S. of November 6, 1978. Section 5. Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., and based upon. the evidence it has received and in accordance with the findings made by the Planning Commission and herein adopted by reference, the City Council hereby adopts an amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N . C . S . , so as to reclassify and rezone said property hereinbefore referred to in accordance with the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Ord. 1608 NCS Page 1 of 4. (including Exhibit A) Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
