THE CITY MANAGER, FINANCE DIRECTOR, ACCOUNTING MANAGER, OR COMMERCIAL SERVICES MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND FILE AN APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH THE OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING CERTAIN FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER P.L. 93-288 AS AMENDED BY THE ROBERT T. STANFORD DISASTER RELIEF AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE ACT OF 1988 AND/OR STATE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE NATURAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE ACT WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma adopted Resolution 2006-004 N.C.S., empowering the City Manager, Administrative Services Director or Accounting Manager, on behalf of the City of Petaluma, to execute and file an application with the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain financial assistance; and, WHEREAS, the job classification of the Administrative Services Director has been eliminated and replaced with Finance Director; and, WHEREAS, due to retirement and/or job duty reallocation the City Council wishes to add the Commercial Services Manager; and, WHEREAS, this resolution will repeal Resolution No. 2006-004 N.C.S. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that; The City Manager, Finance Director, Accounting Manager or Commercial Services Manager are hereby authorized to execute an application for and on behalf of the City of Petaluma, California, a municipal corporation established under the laws of the State of California, and to file it in the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance under P/L/ 93-288, as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act. Resolution No. 2009-154 N.C.S. Page 1 2. The City of Petaluma, California, a municipal corporation established under the laws of the State of California, herby authorizes its agents to provide the assurance and agreements required for all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance to the State Office of Emergency Services.
