s PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
9 Terry Kosewic led the Pledge of Allegiance.
io PUBLIC COMMENT
ii Terry Kosewic, 826 DStreet -complimented staff on placement of flags above a new stop
i2 sign on East D Street.
13 Vincenza Scarpaci, 23 Meadowglen Drive -suggested that staff reply to those persons who
14 speak .to the Council. She was pleased to receive a response from City Manager John
is Scharer, but usually the .rest of the staff does not respond at all. She asked about the access
16 to Moon Ranch and was ;told that as far as the City has been able to determine, the easement
i~ is unrestricted. You are asked so many questions by the public, maybe you could take a few
is of them which may be useful to more than one member of the public and use the Council
19 Comment time to share various information with the public.
20 COUNCIL COMMENT
2i Lori Shea -requested information on the status of the Budget Committee. She was advised
za by a member of that committee that they have divided into three subcommittees and they
i3 also have reduced meetings because of summertime. They are planning to get back together.
as In response to discussion of the budget committee looking at an individual department, the
is Council had understood that the committee did not want to meet with the Council until a
26 little time had elapsed.
2~ Regarding the comment from Mr. Chechanover at the last meeting regarding a telephone
sa cost increase, it was the understanding that Mr. Chechanover wanted the Council to write a
29 letter to the PUC about this.
3o Ross Parkerson asked why the cable television camera is not on. He was told the people
31 who use it on weekends have not been careful to restore the wires the way they were found
3i and the cameraman has unsuccessfully been working on the situation since 6:30 p.m. to try
33 to correct the problem.
