Home My WebLink AboutResolution 2003-233 N.C.S. 12/01/2003~Zesolution No. 2003-233 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California ACCEPTING COMPLETION OF TIDE PAULA LANE TANK DRAIN LINE INSTALLATION AND GULLY REPAIR PROJECT PROJECT NO. 9997 WHEREAS, the City Council awarded the contract for the Paula Lane Tank Drain Line Installation and Gully Repair Project to DAMA Construction, Inc., P.O. Box 6901, Santa Rosa, CA, 95406, on September 15, 2003; and, WHEREAS, DAMA Construction, Inc. has completed all the work to the satisfaction of the Director of Water Resources and Conservation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Petaluma, that the project is hereby accepted subject to the Contractor completing the punch list work within thirty (30) days after acceptance of the project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to sign the Notice of Completion and the City Clerk to file the same with Sonoma County Recorder. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Department is hereby authorized to release the retention money to DAMA Construction, Inc. forty-five (45) days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion, provided that no liens or stop notices have been filed against the project. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
