The results of the soils testing at Ellwood Community Center aze expected to be available in a month. CI'TX C®iJNCYL C0 Michael Davis noted that the teens are now active with the Recreation Commission. hIe suggested the City institute a Government Day so students may assume the role of City officials and work through a real City Council agenda. Brian Sobel agreed with the :suggestion. Vice A~Iayor Lynn Woolsey noted the Parks and Recreation Commission will t before the Council next meeting requesting a second teen member. John Balshaw commented that. the City is getting untidy; the landscaping is nc being maintained at certain locations. 'Triple S Tue and the old ice house at Lakeville and D Streets were locations that he cited. ~Ie also suggested there be a vehicle included in the City approvals allowing the City to contract for a landscape maintenance business to correct landscape maintenance deficiencies and collect the costs from the property owner or business.
